Welcome to the December Flight Plan, our monthly eNewletter from EAA 1358, The Wiregrass Chapter.

In this month's edition of the eNewsletter, we want to update you on our new Young Eagle Coordinator as well as remind you about the 10 for 2018 Recognition. There is still time to make it!

Also, we are now taking applications for our scholarships to Auburn Aviation Camp. Four of these scholarships will be awarded to our Young Eagles. We will be meeting many new Young Eagle Candidates at Southeast World of Works in February.

Finally, we want to wish each of you the Happiest of Holiday Seasons. We hope you are able to have a warm safe Christmas and Holidays with friends and family. Tis the Season.

New Young Eagle Coordinator

Our new Young Eagle Coordinator, Dave Stock, has hit the ground running and will be helping us all have more fun with Chapter events.  In addition to getting more youngsters lined up for their Young Eagle flights, he is also looking for fun fly-out destinations for adult Chapter members.  One of the first - perhaps in January - will be to Auburn’s new aviation training building on the airport at AUO.

10 for 2018 Recognition (Do you have your 10?)

Each pilot who flies 10 or more Young Eagles during a calendar year will receive a custom “10 for 2018” lapel pin and will earn Young Eagles credits that can be used to help offset the cost of sending a young person to an EAA Air Academy session in Oshkosh or assist their local Young Eagles and youth outreach programs.

Do you have your 10? There is still time to do it.
